Find the Common Difference of the AP 4,9,14,… If the First Term Changes to 6 and the Common difference Remains the Same then Write the New AP - Maths

Find the common difference of the AP 4,9,14,… If the first term changes to 6 and the common difference remains the same then write the new AP.

Common difference in arithmetic progression is denoted by d . It is the difference between the successive term and its preceding term. So, the common difference in this AP is

⇒ 9 - 4 = 5

If the first term is 6 and common difference is 5,

then new AP is,

⇒ 6, 6 + 5, 6 + 10…

Therefore, the new Ap is as follows

 6,11,16,21,26,31,36,41,46,51,56,61.....
