Partner X, Y,and Z's Old Ratio = 5:3:2
 

Partner X, Y,and Z's New Ratio = 1:1:1

Sacrificing/Gaining Ratio = Old Ratio - New Ratio

Partner X's Share = `5/10` - `1/3` = `"15-10"/"30"` = `5/30` [sacrifice]

Partner Y's Share = `3/10` - `1/3` = `"9-10"/"30"` = `-1/30` [Gain]

Partner Z's Share = `2/10` - `1/3` = `"6-10"/"30"` = `-4/30` [Gain]

∴ Partner X's Gain = `1/10` and
